Haiku
Let us laugh and say
My God My God
What a beautiful mess this is.
-
My feet are soaking.
My shoulders sway shore to shore.
Please, steer the ship home.
-
Bugs buzz like sirens,
Locusts sing their sullen songs,
Summer is dying.
-
Blue pen is lovely.
It writes things that make me hope
you’ll stay here this time.
-
So tell me, have you
ever really sucked on a
sucker? Food for thought.
-
No one sees her canvas mirror reflections,
for she fears translucence.
-
She paints her past in
colors, vivid as her problems.
Bloody maroon.
-
I’d break your mirrors,
if I thought it would make you
notice me again.
-
Lettin my mind run
Figure 8 infinities
Doesn’t get me far.
-
Focus on forget.
My mind tends to wander when
Left unattended.
-
With hair like maroon
And fingertips like water,
You held me in grace.
-
Chinese finger cuffs.
Such a childish toy….damn it.
My fingers are stuck.
-
Stain my gain with lust.
Look past the broken mirror.
My progress is still.
-
Your God paints the sky.
Play Devil, make it worthless.
You are beautiful.
-
Load your volcano,
Let us paint the whole sky black,
Dip our bones in ash.
-
Sunset burn my wrongs
And settle all the ashes
In the hollow night.
